CELLTREAT® Scientific Products specializes in the design and manufacturing of high-quality plastic lab consumables, including centrifuge tubes, microtubes, cryogenic vials, flasks, films, cell culture products, and more. We serve industries such as academia, life sciences, biotechnology, pharma, clinical healthcare, hospitals, government, veterinary, agriculture, and food & beverage and our products are used daily by laboratory research scientists and technicians. VistaLab Technologies, a subsidiary of CELLTREAT, has as a long-standing history of innovative design, developing an optimized user experience at an affordable price – the ultimate in ergonomics and productivity. VistaLab specializes in pipette controllers, serological pipets, reservoirs, and more.

Led by Richard Happell, CELLTREAT Scientific Products was founded in 2008.From the beginning the company had an emphasis on Quality, Service, Innovation and Value that is now what we call The CELLTREAT Difference.

Our Name

The name CELLTREAT is a fusion of ‘Cell’ to represent cell culture and ‘Treat’ to represent the delight of products and service we offer.

We believe in delivering a ‘treat’ of exceptional service—thoughtful, responsive, and reliable support that exceeds expectations. Whether it’s the quality of our consumables or the care in our customer interactions, we aim to bring the unexpected in a positive way. “Treat” is not just a name—it’s a promise to empower scientific progress and delight our partners along the way.

Our logo mark features a three-tiered flask design, symbolizing the core of liquid handling and tissue culture solutions. The flask, a fundamental tool in laboratory environments, represents our commitment to providing reliable and versatile solutions for laboratory scientists. The repetition of the flask three times reflects the breadth and depth of our offerings, emphasizing that we don’t just deliver one solution—we deliver many.

Our History

2008 – CELLTREAT Founded by Rich Happell
2011 – First completely unique and registered trademark product established – Polypropylene Plasteur® Pasteur Pipet
2016 – Moves into a 50,000 SQ Facility in Pepperell, MA paving the way for expansion
2022 – Acquires VistaLab Technologies, a manufacturer of ergonomic laboratory equipment and supplies out of Brewster, NY
2024 – Moves into a 113,000 SQ Facility in Ayer, MA, more than doubling previous distribution center
2024 – Acquires Brewster Plastics, a plastic molding factory in Brewster, NY, converting into VistaLab Molding

Acquired Brewster Plastics, a leading injection molding manufacturer in Brewster, New York, enhancing our domestic production capabilities and now known as VistaLab Molding.
Expanded operations to a new central distribution hub and corporate headquarters in Ayer, Massachusetts, improving logistics and operational efficiency.
Expansion of our European distribution with a warehouse in the Netherlands.
