During the Holiday Season, CELLTREAT showed support of our Troops by sending a small token of appreciation to deployed U.S. Soldiers stationed in Afghanistan. The care package sent to the RC-North Fusion Center contained water bottles, coolers, t-shirts and other items as our way of saying thank you for their service and dedication.

A special thanks goes out to all of those serving in the Armed Forces.

Radiation Indicator dots are placed on CELLTREAT® sterilized products to provide an added level of visual quality assurance. The indicator dot turns red when exposed to radiation. CELLTREAT Scientific Products is collaborating with 3D Biotek to supply novel, high-tech 3D cell culture products. The first products available are cell culture multiwell plates with 3D Inserts^TM, a series of 3D scaffolds, for three dimensional cell and tissue culture. The scaffolds provide a consistent, reproducible, non-animal derived platform for three-dimensional cell growth, which mimics in vivo cellular environment more accurately. Canadawide Scientific was founded in 1976 and is located in Ottawa, Ontario. Product Improvements:

CELLTREAT has made several improvements to our current line of products, available now. These improvements have come from our commitment to listen to our customers as we strive to meet their needs.

• The molds for all CELLTREAT multi well tissue culture plates have been improved to include a gripping ring to ensure a secure grip when handling.
• A 50mL line mold has been added to our 50mL centrifuge tubes.
• The plug material in all CELLTREAT Serological Pipets has been upgraded to a premium material creating a filter barrier, outperforming standard cotton plugs.
• The mouthpiece of CELLTREAT 25mL Serological pipets has been remolded ensuring a universal fit in standard pipettors.

In addition to the new products added in June, CELLTREAT will launch 11 new products at the end of September. These include bulk pack Serological pipets, Aspirating pipets and a new 100mm x 20mm Tissue Culture Dish with many added premium features. On June 1, 2009 CELLTREAT Scientific Products will introduce 13 new products to complement their existing selection of laboratory research tools. The new products include inoculating loops, petri (non-treated) dishes, micro centrifuge tubes, solution bottles and filter systems. February 2009:

CELLTREAT Scientific Products announces the addition of AJ Cope & Son, the UK's largest independent supplier of laboratory products as a full product line, authorized distribution partner.

A. J. Cope is an independent, family-owned company with over 150 years of experience of supplying laboratory equipment and supplies. The company traces its origins to 1849 with only one serious interruption in 1941 when, during the Second World War, the entire manufacturing plant was destroyed. Manufacture was restarted within weeks. Since that time the company's activities have expanded to include the distribution of laboratory equipment, glassware and chemicals through the UK and abroad.

Rich Happell, CELLTREAT Scientific Products Director of Operations reports, "The addition of AJ Cope as a distribution partner is part of our overall growth strategy. We are excited about the opportunity to serve the UK & European markets with the assistance of an experienced distribution company that possesses a working knowledge of the regional marketplace."

December 2008:

On November 17th, 2008 CELLTREAT Scientific Products relocated from its original Fitchburg, MA headquarters to their new headquarters in Phoenix Park, Shirley, MA. Rich Happell, Director of Operations says, "The new location provides us with additional office space, more than doubles our warehouse space and provides us with additional shipping docks which makes expediting customer orders much more efficient."

No more confusion trying to decipher manufacturer terminology i.e. certificate of conformance, certificate of compliance, etc, etc. No more searching for serial numbers or lot numbers and then calling, faxing, e-mailing and waiting for the required documents.

CELLTREAT Scientific Products includes a comprehensive "Quality Certificate" with every case of product. The CELLTREAT "Quality Certificate" includes the Part Number, Lot Number, Sterility Assurance Level and Dosage, Endotoxin/Pyrogen Free Assurance, Non-Cytotoxicity Assurance and RNase/DNase Free Assurance. The CELLTREAT "Quality Certificate" was designed to include those items found on Certificates of Compliance and Certificates of Assurance. The CELLTREAT "Quality Certificate" is specific to each part number and lot of manufactured product.

June 2008:

CELLTREAT Scientific Products has improved the packaging on our Serological Pipets. By customer request, CELLTREAT Scientific Products has introduced large, easily visible, colored numeric volume indicators on the end of each pipet wrapper and on the dispensing pack. These clear, easy to read markings help to identify volume before the wrapper is opened and sterility is compromised. The improved CELLTREAT Pipet labeling reduces wasted pipets and saves money!
